Blood-Stained Love Chapter 27

Memuat...

Siang-mou Sin-ni snarled, and the long black strands of hair on her head began to sway. Her hair was her most potent weapon, and indeed, it was greatly feared throughout the *kang-ouw* world. For an ordinary woman, long, fine, fragrant black hair might be a source of pride and admired by many, especially men. However, this fragrant hair of Siang-mou Sin-ni was a deadly grip that had claimed countless lives.

"Sin-ni, you know the rules between us. I obtained this letter by employing my skills, so naturally, I cannot simply hand it over to you."

While saying this, Hek-giam-lo drew his sickle, and his left hand produced a letter that he had snatched from Suma Boan without the man realizing it. Seeing the letter in Hek-giam-lo's hand, Siang-mou Sin-ni let out a heart-shaking wail. Her hair seemed to come alive, lashing out to snatch the letter, while another portion of her hair struck toward the vital points on his chest, neck, armpits, and wrists, intending not only to defeat the opponent but also to seize the sickle.

"Uhhh"

Hek-giam-lo roared. The letter vanished back into his jacket pocket, and his sickle disappeared, transforming into a dazzling white light. His body became a swirling black shadow accompanied by the sickle's glow.

In the following moments, Hek-giam-lo and Siang-mou Sin-ni fiercely lunged at each other, resulting in an extraordinary fight. If anyone happened to witness this battle, they would surely think that graveyard demons were competing. Sometimes they fought on the stone floor, sometimes, with light and swift movements, they leaped and chased each other atop the *bongpai* (tombstones), soaring among the trees only to return to the floor, continuing their incredibly fierce match. Yet, they were equally matched. Their defenses were too solid and tight, making it difficult for either to find an opening for a fatal strike.

"Hi-hik, rotten skull. Where are your lessons from Bu Kek Siansu? Why did you steal half of his manual? Come on, show me! I see your moves are the same as before—decrepit and ancient."

Siang-mou Sin-ni mocked. Hek-giam-lo snorted and spun his sickle.

"Why did you steal the *khim* instrument? No need to chatter, snatch your letter if you are capable."

"Damn you, today Hek-giam-lo dies by my hand."

Siang-mou Sin-ni intensified her movements, and now they fought even more fiercely, trying to achieve victory by unleashing deadly moves.

Meanwhile, Sian Eng, seeing herself left alone by Hek-giam-lo, immediately found her courage. This was an excellent opportunity to escape. Swiftly, she leaped down from the long bench, snatched her sword, which Hek-giam-lo seemed to have brought along, and walked through the dark underground passage. Several times she took the wrong path. It turned out the passage had many confusing intersections. After feeling around here and crawling there, Sian Eng finally managed to see sunlight through a hole. Her hope intensified, and she quickly crawled toward the light, which turned out to be coming from a sufficiently large opening. She exerted her *gin-kang* and leaped out of the hole.

For a moment, her eyes were dazzled, and she was forced to stand with her eyes closed. Coming out of a dark place into a bright one was indeed blinding. She could hardly believe what she saw. She found herself standing in front of large tombstones, where two figures were flashing about, engaged in a fierce and bizarre fight. One was Hek-giam-lo, wielding a terrifying sickle. The second person was an extremely beautiful woman, but the woman's fighting style was strange because she constantly used her long, thick black hair as a weapon.

Sian Eng did not know what to do about the fight. She considered Hek-giam-lo a lunatic who thought she was a Princess destined to be queen, but she still didn't know if the black demon harbored good or ill intentions toward her. As for the beautiful woman fighting Hek-giam-lo, she didn't know her either, nor did she know why she was fighting Hek-giam-lo. Because of this, Sian Eng ignored the battle, seizing this good opportunity to flee immediately. However, Sian Eng was truly mistaken if she thought the two fighters hadn't seen her or noticed her escape. Those two were powerful experts who had certainly seen her emerge from the hole. Sian Eng hadn't run far when Hek-giam-lo snorted.

"Sin-ni, we shall continue another time. I must chase her."

"Hik-hik, leave the letter first, then I will grant you mercy."

The sickle in Hek-giam-lo's hand lashed out with full force, but Siang-mou Sin-ni easily dodged and countered with a strike of her hair.

"Damn you, I desperately need that girl."

Hek-giam-lo spoke again, requesting the fight be stopped.

"I also desperately need that letter. Until you hand it over to me, don't expect to get that girl. Hi-hik."

Hek-giam-lo was overwhelmed facing his opponent, who was not only skilled in combat but also very adept at arguing.

"Here, eat your letter."

Hek-giam-lo produced the letter and threw it toward Siang-mou Sin-ni, then leaped far away to chase Sian Eng.

As for Siang-mou Sin-ni, seeing the white object flash toward her, she immediately caught it and cackled with delight, seeing that the object was indeed the alliance letter between the Nan-cao Government and the Hou-han Government. Smiling sweetly, she tucked the letter into her robe pocket, then hummed softly and turned to leave the place. However, as she turned, her eyes fell upon one of the statues lined up, which happened to be right in front of her. A statue the size of an ancient scholar. The statue's face was exquisitely crafted, just like a living person.

"Hmph, you're quite handsome."

Siang-mou Sin-ni smiled.

"Too bad you're just stone, without blood and flesh. Hmph, your eyes are too sharp, I'd better break your neck before I leave."

Siang-mou Sin-ni moved her head, and a clump of long hair lashed out toward the statue's neck.

"Plakkk"

The hair bounced back, and the statue's neck was unharmed. It wasn't even chipped, let alone broken. Her pair of clear, sharp eyes widened. Usually, a strike from her hair could shatter black stone, yet now it wasn't strong enough to break a statue's neck? She moved her head again, this time sending half of her hair in a large, concentrated clump.

"Plakkk"

This time, Siang-mou Sin-ni's body trembled because the force she used was greater, and when it rebounded, she felt the impact even more severely.

The woman's expression changed. Her eyes darted toward that statue, then to the other statues lined up there. If all these statues were this strong, perhaps they possessed supernatural power—*hiiiih*, Siang-mou Sin-ni felt the hairs on the back of her neck stand up, and she quickly fled the spot. A woman famous for being as fierce as a demon now ran away terrified, believing the statues had become demons. Perhaps facing fellow humans, the long-haired demoness would not flinch even a hair's breadth, but facing a stone statue that could withstand two strikes from her hair truly exceeded the limits of her endurance. If only Siang-mou Sin-ni knew that after she left, the statue she had struck could move, she would not have fled but would have attacked desperately.

After the long-haired demoness left, "the statue" took a deep breath, threw off the white cloth covering, and revealed a tall, large young man dressed like a scholar, wearing black clothes. Suling Emas. Just like Siang-mou Sin-ni, Suling Emas, who had disguised himself as a statue, flashed away in the direction Hek-giam-lo had gone. Sian Eng was overjoyed to be free. She ran with all her might and entered a large forest. Her breath was ragged, and after entering the dark part of the forest, feeling safe, the girl slowed her steps to rest and regulate her breathing. However, one can imagine her shock, to the point where her face turned bloodless white, when she looked up and saw standing before her... Hek-giam-lo.

"Where are you going, Your Highness, the Princess? Please be careful. Without this servant protecting you, it is best Your Highness does not go anywhere. Many of our enemies are roaming about,"

Hek-giam-lo said in his terrifying voice.

"No... no... let me go alone. Don't bother me,"

cried Sian Eng in fear, and she tried to run. But the demon flashed once and was already in front of her. Sian Eng became desperate and used her sword to slash. However, somehow her sword seemed to hit a hard object and was flung far away. Then her body was lifted, and she was carried away, flying swiftly, unable to struggle even slightly. Sian Eng shivered in terror and fainted in Hek-giam-lo's embrace.

Lin Lin stomped her feet like a child whose request had been denied.

"Kek, you lied to me."

You said he was in the capital city, where is he now? Come on, tell me, where is he? We have been here for a week, roaming around all night long, sleeping in the old temple during the day, exactly like bats—roaming at night, sleeping during the day. And Suling Emas has not shown his face yet."

The bald, shaven-headed old man, Kim-lun Seng-jin, sat on the dirty floor of the old temple, leaning against the cracked wall, laughing heartily, showing his white, shiny teeth reflecting the light of the bonfire he had made, illuminating the dark interior of the temple.

"Heh-heh-heh, Lin Lin, I told you that a person like Suling Emas is hard to catch by the tail."

"Is he not human, Kek?"

"Heh? Human but like a demon. Yes, he is human like us."

Seeing the young girl ask the question with a serious face, Kim-lun Seng-jin burst into laughter.

"Uuhh, you really are still green. Don't you understand what I mean? 'Hard to catch by the tail' means it's difficult to follow where he goes."

"Wow, in that case, is it useless for us to roam around this capital city, Kek?"

Lin Lin's anger flared up again, and she stomped her foot.

"Nothing in this world is useless; everything is beneficial and has value, provided we know how to use it and reap the benefits. We are already in the capital city, open your eyes wide. Haven't you encountered new situations? Don't you want to see the royal palace from the inside? I always stop by the palace when I come here and never forget to check out the kitchen. Heh-heh, it's been a long time since I enjoyed palace cuisine."

Instantly, Lin Lin's gloom vanished. Her beautiful face brightened, her eyes sparkled, and immediately her stomach suddenly felt very hungry.

"Wow, let's go there, Kek. What kind of dishes do they have there? Oh, my stomach is so hungry."

The old man laughed heartily, seemingly very pleased to see the easily changeable and strange nature of the young girl.

"Heh-heh-heh, you are truly similar, truly similar."

"Similar to whom, Kek?"

"Similar to someone who is no longer here. Lin Lin, you may follow me to the palace and enjoy cuisine that you have never eaten or seen in your life. However, it is very dangerous; there are many skilled guards."

"I am not afraid."
